Math Test Reflection

Test Reflection
1.     Did your test score surprise you? Why or why not?

Yes, I thought I would do much worse. I am somewhat proud, but I did make a lot of silly errors.

2.     What did you do to prepare for this test?

I studied with my father. He wrote down some word problems and I answered them. I felt well going into this test, but also frightened.

3.     What improvements can you make to your methods of preparing and taking math tests?

I could try studying for a week and not just one night, so I feel prepared.

100% Me! Celebration of 100 Days Of School!

For the 100th day of school the grade 5 math came up with things that define themselves. Using a spreadsheet too, we listed out our top ten favorite hobbies.

I used Google spreadsheet on Google Drive to make this.

I used Excel to make this pie graph

Math Project: How Would I Spend $1,000,000?

How would you spend $1,000,000?

The project was about how you would spend $1,000,000 I chose to build a house.

The math I used was Addition, Multiplication, Fractions, Decimals, Percents, Pie Charts, Graphs, and Division. I used multiplying when I had to convert they decimals to fractions. I used adding and subtracting when we had to answer the 2 questions on the test.

I liked making the Lego Movie above because I like making lego videos and working with iMovie.

The most difficult part was making the fraction decimals because I have never worked with converting big fractions to small decimals.

I wouldn't change anything I think I did it the best I possibly could.

The video above shows the lego video I made about how I would spend $1,000,000!
